The significant hike raised concerns among board members and led to further discussions with the county assessor\u2019s office.<\/p>\r\n<p>After a thorough review and reevaluation, county officials have adjusted the tax amount to $1,561.08\u2014reducing the originally proposed increase by more than half.<\/p>\r\n<p>The revised assessment brings some relief to property owners, though it still represents a notable increase from previous tax levels. Board members continue to monitor tax policies affecting shared spaces to ensure fair valuation in the future.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n<hr \/>\r\n\r\n\r\n<h3>July 2025<\/h3>\r\n<p>The lake Lab results, taken in July 2025, are now posted. The following has been added (item 23):<\/p>\r\n<p><em>Shoreline Maintenance \u2013 Weeds and Erosion [Added 9\/13\/25] <\/em><br \/><em>All property owners with shoreline frontage are responsible for maintaining their shoreline areas in a clean, safe, and environmentally responsible manner. This includes the regular removal or control of invasive aquatic and terrestrial weeds to prevent overgrowth and preserve the natural aesthetics and health of the waterway. Owners must also implement and maintain effective erosion control measures\u2014such as native vegetation buffers, riprap, or approved bioengineering solutions\u2014to prevent soil loss and protect water quality. All shoreline modifications or treatments must comply with applicable local, state, and federal environmental regulations, and may require prior approval from the HOA and relevant agencies.
